must be strong enough to make the user click on the banner and leave
the site they are currently viewing. Therefore, the message in a
typical online banner ad is inherently different than a half page
ad in a newspaper or magazine.
It's important to recognize the many factors which
affect the success of an ad--some of those factors influence the

but the overall success of the campaign is reliant on a thorough
understanding of both.
